Kanata GymnoSphere is hiring Gymnastics Coach. Kanata GymnoSphere is the most successful and large gymnastics facility in Kanata, Ottawa (17,000 sq. ft).
Position Title: Gymnastics Coach
Type of position: Full time (30 hours/week)
Place of employment: Unit 7 - 430 Hazeldean, Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2L 1T9
Work Location: in person
Immediate supervisor: Management Team
Start date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 2 positions
Salary: 36.00/hourly

Skills Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a gymnastics coach
- Motivated, engaged, enthusiastic, friendly, positive, team player, follows instructions.
- Excellent capacity to plan for and manage a training group
- Assists athletes in reaching goals
- Plan and train both recreational and competitive gymnastics
- Willingness and versatility in coaching all programs as required (tumbling, trampoline, competitive, recreational, kinder etc.)
- Works in collaboration with all coaching staff to develop athletes and ensure club success
- First aid/CPR
- Flexible work hours are required (Typical workweek includes afternoons, evenings, and weekend shifts)
- Vulnerable sector check required Police record
Language: English, spoken and written
Qualifications:
- lntro to Competition Part 1/Level2 NCCP
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Physical Education
- Minimum 4 years of coaching experience

We Are Hiring: Receptionist (part time)
$15 - $16 an hour
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated, responsible and enthusiastic receptionist.
Role:
Managing the front desk on a daily basis and for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide professional and friendly service to all customers.

Greeting/welcoming customers at arrival
-
Costumer relations (emails, phone calls, etc)
-
Monitor the mailbox and voicemails and provide timely response to enquiries.

Maintain and upload information in Amilia registration system.
-
Implement minor changes to website.
-
Filing and organizing invoices, waivers, binders and other administrative documentation.
-
Assist Management Team to process cancellations, registrations, etc, following the procedures in place to retain members.

Maintaining good liaison and administrative support to all staff members.

Other duties as assigned

Manage Operations team to ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times

Oversees, supervises and responsible for coordination tasks for all front desk administrative team members.

Serves as Liaison with various governmental and other official institutions, as required (such as Ministry of Labor, Gymnastics Ontario, Service Canada, etc)
-
Responsible for control of cash deposit and ensure weekly deposits are made on time
-
Works in cooperation with the Management Team to manage/process cancellations, registrations etc following procedures in place to retain members
-
Assists management team to ensure all members concerns are addressed in a timely manner (maximum 24 hours)

Assists Management team with bi-weekly payroll and submit payroll signed off by indicated deadline

Management of employee’s files (contracts, birth dates, memorandums, payroll information, etc.)

Promoting and branding the Company through flyers, marketing materials, social media, mail chimp, etc.

Prepare and update as needed registration system in a timely manner following session launching due dates

Day to day administrative tasks

Customer relations (emails, phone calls, complaints, etc)

POS reconciliation
-
Filing and organizing invoices, waivers, binders and other administrative documentation pertaining to the successful running of the business

Procuring office supplies as needed

Maintaining good liaison and administrative support to all staff members, as needed.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire and ability to work with children of all ages.
Demonstrated responsibility and dependability.
Must exhibit patience and understanding.

Qualifications/ Experience:
Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
Education:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field is desirable.
Hands-on experience with office equipment (computers, fax machines, printers).
Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Any gymnastics experience
Desire and ability to work with children
Experience using Photoshop, Wix, or Mailchimp

Previous Experience: Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
